Cool Sudoku Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cool Sudoku (the App). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Cool Sudoku provides Sudoku gameplay, saved games, optional daily challenges, optional notifications, optional advertising-supported rewards, and optional in-app purchases, including the Cool Sudoku Plus subscription. The core game may be available offline. Network-dependent features can be unavailable or changed without notice.

You must comply with applicable law and must not interfere with the App, attempt to bypass advertising or reward systems, reverse engineer the App except where law expressly permits it, disrupt services, or harm other users or us.

Advertising and Rewards

Some optional in-game benefits, including hints or additional lives, may be offered after a completed rewarded ad. A reward is granted only when the ad provider confirms completion. Ads and rewards depend on availability, privacy choices, network access, and provider policies. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.

We may show interstitial ads according to the App's configuration. Where law requires consent, advertising depends on your choices. Declining consent does not prevent ordinary gameplay, but ad-funded rewards may be unavailable.

In-App Purchases

On iOS and Android you can buy Remove Ads (a one-time purchase that turns off ads between games), hint packs, and Cool Sudoku Plus, either as a subscription or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Apple (on the App Store) or Google (on Google Play) processes every payment under its own terms, which also govern refunds; we never receive your payment details. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.

Hint packs are consumable: hints are stored on your device, are used up when spent, and cannot be restored after you delete the App or on another device. Remove Ads, Plus Lifetime, and an active Plus subscription can be restored with Restore Purchases using the same Apple Account or Google account that made the purchase.

Cool Sudoku Plus

Cool Sudoku Plus is available as an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly to your Apple Account or Google Play account, or as Plus Lifetime, a one-time purchase that does not renew and does not expire. While Plus is active it makes hints unlimited, opens the full Daily Puzzle archive, allows unlimited 12×12 games, removes ads, and replaces rewarded ads with the same benefit. Without Plus, a limited number of 12×12 games and recent Daily Puzzles stay free; the App shows the current limits.

The terms below apply to the subscription; Plus Lifetime is a one-time payment.

• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the period ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before). Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends; Google Play charges it on the renewal date.
• Free trial: if a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. The store decides who is eligible. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Cancellation: manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings, in Google Play under Subscriptions, or from the App's Plus screen. Cancelling stops future renewals; Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Changes: we may add Plus features or change the free limits. If we raise the price, Apple or Google notifies you and asks for consent where required.

Ownership

Kyrylo Panin or his licensors own the App, its code, artwork, trademarks, text, and other content, which are protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the usage rules of the store you got it from.

Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, daily challenges, advertising offers, or backend services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. You are responsible for compatible devices, operating system versions, and connectivity for online features.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, Kyrylo Panin is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the App.

Termination and Changes

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end online access if you materially violate these Terms, where needed to protect the service, or where required by law. We may revise these Terms for legal, technical, security, or product reasons. The current version will be available at https://coolsudoku.app/legal/terms with its effective date.

Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by Spanish law, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Valencia, Spain, unless mandatory law requires another forum.
